The Southwest Council, Inc. is committed to improving the health and welfare of residents of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties so that children and families can thrive and grow to be strong, responsible individuals. The agency’s mission is to provide substance abuse services to the counties of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem. Among the many services The Southwest Council, Inc. offers, the agency is also home to three active and effective anti-drug coalitions serving the southwestern portion of the state. The Cumberland County Healthy Communities Coalition (CCHCC), The Gloucester Regional Addictive Substances Prevention Coalition (GRASP), and The Salem-Cumberland Regional Action Toward Community Health Coalition (SCRATCH), all began as initiatives of The Southwest Council, Inc.
